i just love the view outside my window... you don't need to travel miles or take a flight to see mountains and rivers...

Steps to preparing a bento... 1. make the food.

In this case, i prepared french toast using danish sweet bread and cheap eggs. I also fried chicken sticks and put some raw cabbage for a balanced diet.


2. Put the cover on.


3. Put the bento and fork into the nice bag i got from shopping for a belt. Lowry's Farm. Voila! the bento is done!



Normally i cook rice, but today decided to try something different. You know what, in the end, guixiang didn't make bento today ( a miracle ) cos' she couldn't wake up. So i was so tempted to eat at little mermaid's again, i didn't have my bento :S and i had too much bread at little mermaid cos' they had free flow of bread. It was a friday.

After that, tt night we went for Gracie's pizza (above SHIPS) it was great. Love the carbonara pizza. It had egg on top! It was fun! we expanded into a group of 7. They also had a free flow of drinks and the place opened until 2 am. so we stayed till 1 am to chat.

It was fun. I finally got to talk with Yoo Jin, my neighbour. She is super rich! her parents wanted to get her a BMW, and wanted to ship it to Japan from the states! I can't believe it!!! She also wanted to move to an apartment which is 90000yen a month!!! she is too rich! hope by the time i come back from golden week she has a car already so she can drive us to travel ;)

Just now, i went out to meet connie, levi's friend, who wanted to practise a few chinese phrases before going to shanghai to travel. She's cool. She's a canadian who has been in hiroshima for 6 years now... she loves her life here. She changed my perspective about hiroshima. I have been hearing too much negative stuff about hiroshima, about how boring it is... and i just agreed with everybody else blindly. But actually, unaware of it, i love hiroshima. I love the peace, quiet, and the scenery. We went to a cafe to chat, and then after that went to another cafe for lunch, and thereafter shopped a while, ( i got a super cheap bag!!!) only 525 yen! i'm quite lucky in this kinda stufff.
here's the bag! its much too troublesome to carry my normal working bag... its a little too big... ;)
and after our shopping, we went to a cafe again to chat. lol even though she has been here for 6 years, her japanese is not as good. And her japanese only got better cos' she got herself a japanese boyfriend who couldn't speak english at all... and her boyfriend is a semi-pro baseball player. A pitcher, infact. Cool~~~
It's really nice to talk to different kinda people... yea... she said that we should meet up again... so i'm looking forward to it ;) i have japanese lesson at 10 tomorrow, so shd prob wake up early. so じゃ :S btw these few days i have nothing to do and i'm so tired of *acting* busy and i can't chat:S so sian...
